From inside the app
This is the fastest route, and it needs nobody's help: the deletion runs the moment you confirm it.
Open Profile → Settings → Delete account, then confirm. You are signed out immediately and your account is gone.
By email
If you cannot reach the app, or you have already uninstalled it, email [email protected] with the subject RiftHub account deletion request.
Write from the email address you signed in with, and include your RiftHub username. We use that address to confirm the account is yours, because we have no other way to tell. We act on the request within seven days and complete it within thirty.
What is deleted
Everything below is removed from RiftHub when your account is deleted:
Account and profile
Your name and email address as they came from Google or Apple sign-in, your username, avatar, settings, home city and any sign-in sessions.
Your game data
Your collection and its day-by-day valuation history, your decks and deck builds, your market listings, your saved counter games and your tournament reminders and event registrations.
Messages and trading
The chat messages you sent, your trade offers in both directions, your friendships, and the users you blocked or reported.
Everything else keyed to you
Feedback you submitted, comments you left on shops, any linked Riftbound account token, and the link between your account and the device that receives your notifications.
What is kept, and why
Three things survive deletion, none of which identifies you afterwards.
The other person's messages
A conversation keeps the messages the other participant wrote, because those are their history and not yours to erase. Your own messages go, and the thread shows your side as a deleted account.
Ratings, with your name removed
Ratings you gave to traders and to shops keep the bare score and lose every reference to you, in both directions. A rating that names nobody is no longer a record about you, and removing it outright would also erase what you said about people who are still here.
Moderation records
Administrative and abuse-handling records are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted automatically. Keeping them briefly is what stops deletion from being used to erase a trail; they are not used for anything else.
Records about the handset itself, rather than about you, stay but stop naming your account, and expire on their own within 90 days.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You do not have to close your account to remove what it holds. From inside the app you can take cards back out of your collection, discard a deck you are building, clear your home city, delete comments you left on shops, remove friends and blocks, and cancel tournament reminders and event registrations.
For anything else, email [email protected] from the address you signed in with and say what you want removed. The same seven and thirty day timings above apply, and your account stays open.
